Gravity Perks Placeholder

Gravity Perks Placeholder adds HTML5 placeholder text to Gravity Forms fields. The text appears inside an empty input as an inline hint, such as an example or a short explanation of what to enter. This gives visitors context while they fill out a form, especially when a field label alone does not explain the expected format.

Set placeholder text in a field setting, and the plugin adds it to the input’s HTML attributes. It extends placeholder options to multi-input Name and Address fields, as well as List fields. That makes it useful for site owners and developers building detailed Gravity Forms forms who want to give visitors guidance within individual inputs.

Features

• Inline field hints: Add HTML5 placeholder text to form fields so visitors see an example or brief hint inside an empty input before they start typing.
• Name field placeholders: Set placeholder text for the individual inputs in multi-part Name fields to clarify what information belongs in each one.
• Address field placeholders: Add inline guidance to the inputs within Address fields, helping visitors understand what details each part of the field expects.
• List field support: Add placeholder text to List fields, extending placeholder options to a field type that Gravity Forms does not handle natively.
• Field setting control: Enter a placeholder in the field settings beneath the field label setting, keeping the hint text attached to the field it describes.
• HTML attribute updates: When you define a placeholder, the plugin updates the input’s HTML attributes so the hint appears within the corresponding form field.
