LearnDash LMS - Migration

Moving an existing course library to LearnDash can mean recreating its lessons, topics, quizzes, and questions. This plugin transfers those materials from LearnPress, Tutor LMS, Sensei LMS, and Lifter LMS. It is suited to course creators and organizations changing platforms or bringing course content together in LearnDash.

The migration tool maps source platform structures to LearnDash course content. For example, LearnPress sections can become LearnDash lessons, and Tutor LMS topics can be mapped to lessons. Course progression data, meta attributes, and media files are excluded, so review migrated courses and check that custom blocks and features have transferred as expected.

Features

• Four source platforms: Move course content from LearnPress, Tutor LMS, Sensei LMS, and Lifter LMS into LearnDash.
• Course material transfer: Import lessons, topics, quizzes, and questions so existing educational materials can be used in LearnDash.
• Structure mapping: Map source LMS structures to LearnDash, including LearnPress sections becoming lessons and Tutor LMS topics being mapped to lessons.
• Question conversion: Convert supported question content into LearnDash formats, including Lifter LMS multiple choice questions.
• Select courses to move: Use the migration controls in LearnDash LMS settings to choose a source LMS and the courses to migrate.
• Post-migration review: Review migrated courses, especially those from Sensei LMS and Lifter LMS, to check how custom blocks and features transferred.
