FacetWP - Map Facet

A text-based search can make it harder for visitors to understand where listings or other results are located. The Map Facet gives them a visual way to browse geographic content, filter by location, or draw an area on the map. It works as a facet within FacetWP, so map-based search fits into a site's existing FacetWP filtering.

Map settings include customizable markers, marker clustering, and support for separating overlapping markers so visitors can explore individual results. Proximity search helps people find entries within a specified radius of a location. The map facet can be placed in layouts built with Elementor, Beaver Builder, or Bricks, and supports touch-friendly use on mobile devices.

Features

• Filter by map location: Visitors can select locations or draw areas on an interactive map to filter listings, posts, or products by geographic location.
• Customize map markers: Personalize marker pins to suit the map, with clustering to group crowded locations and keep map results easier to explore.
• Separate overlapping markers: Overlapping Marker Spiderfier support separates markers in the same area so visitors can click and explore each entry.
• Search within a radius: Proximity search lets visitors find listings within a specified radius of a location, such as nearby stores, services, or attractions.
• Use with page builders: Add map facets to layouts built with Elementor, Beaver Builder, or Bricks, and style them within custom page designs.
• Support mobile map use: Touch-friendly map interactions let visitors explore geographic results on mobile devices as well as desktop screens.
