SearchWP PrivateContent Integration

A standard site search may leave members unable to find content they can access, or expose restricted material in public results. This plugin connects SearchWP with PrivateContent so search can account for content access rules. Site owners can make protected content searchable for authorized users while keeping it out of results for people without the right access.

Search results can be tailored to PrivateContent user groups by indexing content relevant to each group. The integration also supports excluding posts, pages, and custom content from public searches, and gives site owners controls for prioritizing results. It suits membership sites, subscription websites, intranets, and other WordPress sites where search needs to reflect restricted access.

Features

• Group-based search: Tailor search results to PrivateContent user groups by indexing content that is relevant to each group.
• Protected content search: Include private and protected content in SearchWP results for users who have permission to access it.
• Public search exclusions: Exclude posts, pages, and custom content from public search results to keep restricted material out of public searches.
• Result prioritization: Control the ranking of private content in search results, helping site owners give selected content greater prominence.
• Search algorithm controls: Adjust SearchWP's relevance algorithm to better fit the site's structure and content types.

Best for

• PrivateContent membership sites
• Subscription websites with restricted content
• WordPress intranets with group-based access
