LearnDash LMS bbPress Integration

Course discussions can be difficult to organize when they happen separately from lesson content. This plugin associates bbPress forums with LearnDash courses, so learners can find related discussions alongside their course activity. Forums can be public or restricted to course participants, giving educators a way to choose how open each discussion space should be.

When a user enrolls in a course, the plugin grants access to its associated forum. A single course can have multiple forums for discussions on different subjects or modules. A course sidebar widget can display related forums, and custom access-denied messages can guide visitors who try to view a restricted forum.

Features

• Course-linked forums: Associate bbPress forums with LearnDash courses to give learners a discussion space related to their course content.
• Enrollment-based access: Grant users access to a course's associated forum when they enroll, linking forum participation with course access.
• Public or private options: Set forums to be visible to all site visitors or restrict them to participants in the associated course.
• Multiple forums per course: Connect several forums to one course to organize conversations by subject or course module.
• Custom denied messages: Write a personalized message for visitors who cannot access a restricted forum, with helpful links such as a course page.
• Associated forum widget: Display related forums in a course sidebar widget so learners can navigate to course discussions.
