• New Columns can now style their entire row with background color, borders, rounded corners, and responsive padding, configured on the first column in the row
• New Text reveal now offers an "opacity + blur in" animation option (word-by-word and letter-by-letter)
• New Text reveal animation speed now includes 2.5s (very slow) and 0.4s (very fast) options
• New Enfold Bed and Breakfast demo - a holiday cabin with rooms, amenities and booking links - can be imported from the theme's demo list
• New Enfold Coffee Shop demo - a café with a WooCommerce shop for coffee and goods - can be imported from the theme's demo list
• Fixed Element settings windows reacted slowly when an option shows or hides other options (e.g. Custom Margins of a column) - the preview is now updated once per change instead of once for every option involved, and options and sections now appear and disappear right away; hovering in the window no longer makes the page stutter, and pages with many elements no longer slow every change down
• Fixed AVIF images now show a preview and delete button when an Advanced Layout Builder element is opened for editing
• Fixed The "Add Media" button is now available when the text editor of an Advanced Layout Builder element (e.g. Text Block) is in fullscreen mode
• Fixed Shortened post titles and excerpts (e.g. in the Combo Widget) could show a broken character (�) when the cut fell inside a German umlaut or other multibyte character
• Fixed Icon Grid links set to open in a new window opened in the same window on touch devices
• Fixed Saving a custom post type entry with "Enfold Layouts" enabled (e.g. created with ACF) showed a blank page with "-1", and the Layout meta box was missing (since 8.2)
• Fixed Chart element settings could break out of their HTML attribute - labels or colors containing an apostrophe allowed script injection and also stopped the chart from rendering
• Fixed A Chart element that cannot be displayed no longer prevents all other charts on the same page from showing
• Fixed PHP notices about unregistered script dependencies on admin screens without the Layout Builder when Yoast SEO or Rank Math is active
• Fixed Partner/Logo, Content, Post and Product Sliders did not auto-rotate and showed no navigation dots on phones since 8.2 - the phone layout now follows the element's auto-rotation and dot settings
• Fixed WooCommerce block checkout select fields (Country/Region, State) styling
• Fixed Theme updates were never offered on sites that set up automatic updates on WordPress 6.8 or newer - the theme options reported "latest version" although a newer version was available
• Fixed Importing a demo into a site that already had content (e.g. with WooCommerce active) could show an unrelated image instead of the demo's logo, transparent header logo or shop banner
• Improved The submenu indicator in the mobile menu now uses an SVG icon, so the entypo-fontello-enfold icon font is no longer loaded for it
• Removed Obsolete Array.isArray polyfill from avia.js – all supported browsers provide it natively
• Improved Italian language files it_IT (version 8.2, provided by BigBatT - [email protected] )
• Improved Dutch language files nl_NL (version 8.0 provided by EZWebdesign - Roger Hoen)
• Improved French language files fr_FR (version 8.1, provided by comkapi - Patrick)
