Overview

Digital product sellers using Easy Digital Downloads can use EDD for AMP to provide AMP-compatible versions of their store pages. The plugin detects an EDD setup and generates AMP versions of digital product pages, so product details and pricing options can appear in the AMP environment.

The plugin is suited to WordPress stores that use both EDD and AMP. It supports simple and variable pricing structures, and its features include compatibility with other AMP plugins. A form submission fix for pages accessed through Google’s CDN is also part of its capabilities.

Features

  • EDD page support: The plugin detects an Easy Digital Downloads setup and generates AMP-compatible versions of digital product pages for the store.
  • Simple pricing support: Product pages using simple pricing structures in EDD can be represented in AMP.
  • Variable pricing support: The plugin supports EDD products with variable pricing, so their pricing options can appear on AMP pages.
  • Works with AMP plugins: EDD for AMP is designed to work alongside other AMP plugins in a WordPress setup.
  • Form submission fix: Forms can submit when accessed through Google’s CDN, addressing an issue with form submissions in that context.
