Paid Memberships Pro - Custom Post Type Add On

Standard post and page restrictions may not cover the specialized content on a membership site. This add-on extends access control to custom post types, including content types created for a site or added by another tool. Use it to protect resources such as events, tutorials, portfolios, or other custom content.

Set access rules for custom post types according to membership level, then manage those restrictions from the post editor. This gives site admins a way to organize access for different member tiers without writing code. The add-on fits sites that use Paid Memberships Pro and need membership rules to cover content beyond standard posts and pages.

Features

• Custom post type access: Restrict access to custom post types so their content is available only to members with the appropriate access.
• Level-based restrictions: Assign which membership levels can view a custom post type to provide different access across member tiers.
• Editor-level controls: Manage content restrictions directly from the post editor screen using options for setting access rules.
• Multiple content types: Protect custom post types built into a site or supplied by another tool, including multiple types.
• Hooks and filters: Use hooks and filters to customize access rules and content display for development needs.
• Works with Paid Memberships Pro: Use the add-on with Paid Memberships Pro to apply membership access control to custom post types.
