EDD MaxMind

Fraudulent purchases can lead to chargebacks and create extra work for store owners reviewing orders. EDD MaxMind connects an Easy Digital Downloads store to MaxMind's minFraud service, which assesses transaction risk. Merchants can use these risk assessments to identify orders that may need closer attention.

The plugin analyzes transaction details such as IP address, email, and billing and shipping information. It also supports factors such as device fingerprinting and proxy detection. Store owners can set risk thresholds to automate order reviews or block high-risk transactions, and use fraud reports to review patterns.
