Thrive Comments

A basic comment section can make it harder for readers to respond to one another and take part in a site community. Thrive Comments adds likes, up-votes, down-votes, and featured comments, giving visitors ways to react to conversations. Achievement badges can recognize commenters, while social sharing lets readers share individual comments.

The plugin also gives site owners tools for managing comments and shaping what happens after a comment is submitted. Set actions for first-time commenters, such as sending them to a welcome page, showing related posts, or prompting social sharing. Moderation workflows and reporting help owners review activity and see details about commenters and post popularity.

Features

• Comment voting: Let visitors like comments and vote them up or down, so readers can respond to contributions and indicate which comments they value.
• Featured comments: Highlight selected comments in the discussion, giving site owners a way to draw attention to particular contributions.
• Achievement badges: Award commenters unlockable badges to recognize participation and give readers a visible marker of their activity in the community.
• Post-comment actions: Set actions for first-time commenters, including sending them to a welcome page, showing related posts, offering freebies, or prompting social sharing.
• Social comment sharing: Allow readers to share individual comments across social networks, extending sharing beyond the post itself.
• Comment moderation: Use moderation workflows and a dashboard to manage website comments, helping site owners and teams review discussion activity.
• Comment reporting: Review information about visitor behavior, top commenters, and post popularity to understand activity across comment sections.
