BuddyBoss Sharing

Members can share an activity post using a button beside the Like and Comment options. They can repost to their own feed, groups, friends’ profiles, or private messages, giving community members several ways to pass posts along within the site.

Sharing can also extend beyond the community through direct links and external social networks. Administrators choose where members can share and can allow or disallow custom messages. This plugin suits BuddyBoss site owners who want members to circulate activity posts with sharing choices managed around their community.

Features

• Activity sharing button: A Share button appears alongside Like and Comment on activity posts, giving members a direct way to share content.
• Community destinations: Members can repost activity posts to their own feeds, groups, friends’ profiles, or private messages.
• External sharing: Members can share activity posts to popular social networks or copy a direct link to the post.
• Administrator controls: Administrators can choose where sharing is allowed, so available destinations can be set for the community.
• Custom messages: Administrators can allow or disallow members from adding a custom message when they share an activity post.
• BuddyBoss activity integration: Sharing options appear with the existing activity-post controls in BuddyBoss-powered communities.
