Give Moneris Gateway

This plugin connects GiveWP donation forms with Moneris payment processing. Donors can enter credit or debit card details on your website without being redirected elsewhere. The setup is intended for organizations that want to accept online donations in Canadian dollars through their existing GiveWP platform.

The gateway includes Moneris eFraud tools for address and card verification, along with clear messages when a payment is declined. You can also issue refunds from within GiveWP, so transaction handling can stay in the donation platform. It suits Canadian nonprofits, charities, and other organizations that collect donations online.

Features

• On-site card payments: Accept credit and debit card donations through your website, without redirecting donors away from your GiveWP donation forms.
• Major card support: Process donations made with Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diner’s Club, and JCB.
• Canadian dollar processing: Accept donations processed in Canadian dollars, suited to organizations collecting funds from Canadian donors.
• Moneris fraud checks: Use Moneris eFraud tools for address and card verification, including CVD and CVV validation through the eFraud API.
• Refunds in GiveWP: Issue refunds from within GiveWP, without signing in to the Moneris gateway to manage the transaction.
• Clear decline messages: Show donors explanations for declined payments, with guidance on steps they can take to retry.
