GamiPress - Expirations

Rewards that remain valid indefinitely can make it harder to keep a points or achievement system active over time. This add-on lets administrators set expiration rules for points, achievements, ranks, and requirements, giving them control over when each item stops being valid. Rules can use a fixed calendar date or a relative period after a user earns an item.

Expiration handling is automatic once rules are configured, so administrators do not have to manage each expiring item manually. Different rules can be applied to different gamification elements, and users can be notified when rewards are nearing expiration or have expired. It suits WordPress sites using GamiPress that want time-limited rewards or requirements.

Features

• Fixed expiration dates: Set a specific calendar date for points, achievements, ranks, or requirements to expire.
• Relative time periods: Choose an expiration period measured from when a user earns an item, such as hours, days, or weeks.
• Automatic expiry: Configured items expire automatically, reducing the need for administrators to manage each expiration manually.
• Rules by item type: Apply expiration settings to points, achievements, ranks, and user requirements to suit different parts of a gamification system.
• Expiration notifications: Notify users when rewards are nearing expiration or have expired, so they know when an item is no longer valid.
