Easy Digital Downloads - Content Restriction

This add-on lets Easy Digital Downloads store owners decide which users can view or download selected content. Set restrictions for downloads, pages, and posts based on user roles, so you can reserve specific material for the audience you choose. It suits stores that sell digital products and want to provide exclusive content to members or subscribers.

Access settings are managed through an admin interface, where you can assign or change permissions for restricted content. When a visitor cannot access an item, you can display a custom message or redirect them. Use these controls to organize members-only downloads, restricted site pages, or posts for audiences with different roles.

Features

• Role-based access: Restrict selected downloads, pages, and posts according to user roles, giving you control over which audiences can view or download specific content.
• Flexible content types: Choose downloads, posts, or pages for restriction, allowing you to apply access rules to different parts of your Easy Digital Downloads store.
• Custom denial messages: Show a personalized message when a visitor is denied access, so restricted content can provide clear guidance to people who cannot view it.
• Access redirects: Redirect visitors when access is denied, directing them away from content they are not permitted to view.
• Permission management: Assign and modify access rights through the admin interface to manage permissions for restricted content in your store.
• Members-only content: Use role-based restrictions to reserve downloads and other content for members or subscribers in a digital store.
