SearchWP Term Archive Priority

Searches on content-rich sites can return individual posts when visitors are looking for a broader topic or a collection of related content. SearchWP Term Archive Priority addresses this by giving term archive pages, such as category, tag, and other taxonomy archives, higher priority in SearchWP results. This helps visitors reach organized content through site search.

The plugin works within the SearchWP framework and supports custom taxonomies as well as standard categories and tags. It can suit blogs, news sites, and stores with many product categories, where archive pages help visitors browse related material. Prioritization levels can be adjusted to control the weight term archives receive in search results.

Features

• Prioritize term archives: Give category, tag, and other taxonomy archive pages higher priority in SearchWP results so visitors can reach grouped content.
• Adjust archive weighting: Set prioritization levels for term archives to control how much weight they receive when SearchWP orders search results.
• Support custom taxonomies: Include archives for custom taxonomies, in addition to standard category and tag archives, in the prioritization.
