SearchWP Enable Media Replace

Replacing a file in the WordPress media library can leave search results pointing to outdated information. SearchWP Enable Media Replace re-indexes media files after they are replaced, helping keep search results in step with the current files. It works with images, PDFs, videos, and audio clips, so it can fit sites that rely on different kinds of media.

The plugin connects the Enable Media Replace functionality with SearchWP indexing. SearchWP can index media details such as metadata, alt text, captions, titles, and descriptions, giving site owners control over how media appears in search. Its search capabilities can also include different media types and use relevance settings to rank results.

Features

• Re-index replaced files: When a media file is replaced, the plugin updates its SearchWP index so search results can reflect the current file.
• Index media details: SearchWP can index media metadata, alt text, captions, titles, and descriptions to make those details available in search.
• Search multiple media types: Include images, videos, PDFs, audio files, and other media from the WordPress library in tailored search experiences.
• Set result relevance: Use SearchWP algorithm settings to rank media search results according to relevance.
• Support live search: The plugin supports instant live Ajax search, which can show search suggestions and results as visitors type.
